On July 14, the 2026 20th National Philatelic Exhibition concluded after five days at the Shungeng International Convention Center in Jinan. Hosted by the National Philatelic Federation of China, this year's exhibition collected 400 exhibits from 30 provincial philatelic associations and 5 industry associations, with new collectors, new works, and new collections accounting for 88%, the highest proportion in the exhibition's history.
After judging, the exhibition awarded 10 Grand Gold awards and 33 Gold awards. Hengyang's two competing collections both won prizes: the five-frame collection 'Republic of China Express Mail Stamps' by Hou Xiaobo, Vice President of Hengyang Philatelic Association, and Secretary-General Wang Zhaohui, won the Gold Award; the one-frame collection 'New China Express Mail Letters and Postal Rates' won the Gilded Award, achieving Hengyang's best-ever results at a national philatelic exhibition.
The National Philatelic Exhibition, founded in 1983, has been cultivated for over 40 years and has become China's highest-specification, largest-scale, and most authoritative comprehensive philatelic cultural event.
