On July 11, the 28th China Building Expo (Guangzhou) successfully concluded. This year's expo was comprehensively upgraded across three dimensions — new development, new momentum, and new trends — with nearly 2,000 exhibiting companies and 144,370 professional visitors from 146 countries and regions, including 11,473 overseas visitors, up 33.4% year-on-year.
The expo integrated and upgraded three major zones — interior spaces, doors/windows/outdoor living, and materials/smart manufacturing — while expanding into emerging sectors including partial renovation, aging-friendly design, courtyard aesthetics, and bamboo-as-plastic-substitute. Targeting six core customer groups — distributors, foreign trade, designers, renovation companies, commercial fit-out, and new media — the expo further expanded overseas markets through the CBD World-Connect 'Global Link' program.
Concentrated new product debuts served as a vivid footnote to industry transformation and upgrading. In the interior space zone, the partial renovation themed exhibition precisely addressed the renewal demands of the existing housing era. Aligned with core directions including 'good housing' policy, urban renewal, existing property renovation, aging-friendly facilities, green and low-carbon design, AI intelligence, and cross-border trade, the expo supported over 70 high-end forums and themed exhibitions.
