On September 10, 2026, the 5th Xinyao Dongfang Shanghai Cybersecurity Expo and the Shanghai-Nanjing "AI + Security" Industrial Innovation and Development Promotion Conference officially opened at the Shanghai Cross-Border Procurement Convention and Exhibition Center. Focusing on the deep integration and synergistic development of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, this premier event brought together nearly 100 outstanding industry enterprises to showcase the latest technological achievements and innovative applications in cybersecurity and AI from cities along the Shanghai-Nanjing Industrial Innovation Corridor. The expo not only provides a high-level platform for industry exchange and cooperation, but also marks a new stage of accelerated industrial synergy in the "AI + Security" sector along the corridor.

As a vital platform for industrial synergy in the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, this year's expo has attracted numerous enterprises from multiple cities along the Shanghai-Nanjing Industrial Innovation Corridor. Wang Junjie, Regional Sales Director of Nanjing Sai Ning Information Technology Co., Ltd., traveled specifically to Putuo District, Shanghai, to attend the event. He noted that Sai Ning's business footprint has been deeply established across key sectors such as energy, electric power, and education. Through this expo, the company aims to forge closer ties with leading research institutes and universities in Putuo District and Shanghai at large, further promoting in-depth industry-academia-research collaboration and accelerating the transformation and application of technological achievements.

Jiangsu Yunhe Computer System Engineering Co., Ltd., based in Suzhou, also holds high expectations for the expo. Zhang Cuicui, Marketing Manager of the company, noted that their business was previously mostly concentrated in the local Suzhou market. Leveraging the valuable opportunity presented by the Shanghai-Nanjing Industrial Innovation Corridor, the company hopes to effectively expand its partner network, connect with more high-quality enterprises in the industry, break geographical constraints, and achieve cross-regional expansion and upgrading of its business.

As the host area for Shanghai's first and only municipal-level cybersecurity industry demonstration park, Putuo District continues to leverage its strong industrial agglomeration advantages. Currently, cybersecurity-related enterprises in the district have basically achieved full coverage of key links from technological R&D to commercial application, forming a sound industrial ecosystem. This superior business environment and industrial atmosphere has also attracted non-local enterprises to settle in the area. Ding Zhengxuan, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Party Branch of Jiangsu Ruixiang Technology Group Co., Ltd., a Zhenjiang-based enterprise, shared the company's experience in cross-regional development at the event. He introduced that Ruixiang Technology has successfully registered a branch company in Putuo District. This achievement is inseparable from the proactive services and strong support of relevant departments in Putuo District. Relevant departments in Putuo District have visited the Zhenjiang headquarters multiple times for research and exchanges, actively facilitating connections for relevant enterprises in business expansion. With the assistance of the government, Ruixiang Technology has now established solid cooperative relationships with multiple enterprises in cities along the Shanghai-Nanjing Industrial Innovation Corridor, achieving resource sharing and mutual benefit. Such cross-regional synergy and cooperation not only enhances the market competitiveness of the enterprises themselves but also injects new industrial vitality into the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.

In terms of industrial ecosystem construction and public services, this expo has also reached an important milestone. At the event, the construction of the AI Security Public Service Platform for the Shanghai Cybersecurity Industry Demonstration Park was officially launched. The construction of this platform will further consolidate the underlying technological support for the cybersecurity industry, providing enterprises with more convenient and efficient public services. Meanwhile, relying on the "open competition" mechanism, Putuo District continues to promote the efficient matching of industrial demands and technological achievements. In January this year, Putuo District officially released the first batch of application scenario demands for the cybersecurity industry under the "open competition" mechanism for 2026. These demands precisely cover ten cutting-edge industry fields, including AI, integrated circuits, and robotics, pointing the way for technological breakthroughs and effectively stimulating the enthusiasm and creativity of various innovation entities. In addition, in July of the same year, the third "Banma Suhe Cybersecurity Fair" and the Shanghai-Nanjing Embodied Intelligence and Cybersecurity Salon were successfully held in the "Cybersecurity Smart Valley" industrial space in Putuo. At that time, representatives from robotics and cybersecurity enterprises in cities along the Shanghai-Nanjing Industrial Innovation Corridor gathered to deeply explore the path of deep integration between cybersecurity technology and embodied intelligence industry scenarios, laying a solid foundation for the successful holding of this expo.

It is reported that this year's expo will last for three days. In addition to the main promotion conference, four thematic promotion sessions will be held intensively during the expo. These thematic events will focus on in-depth discussions on different sub-sectors of cybersecurity and AI, providing a broad platform for cybersecurity enterprises in cities along the Shanghai-Nanjing Industrial Innovation Corridor to showcase innovative achievements and seek cooperation opportunities. Through the hosting of this series of events, cross-regional industrial synergy and development will be further advanced, safeguarding the high-quality development of the digital economy in the Yangtze River Delta and the country at large, and jointly building an impregnable cybersecurity defense line.
