Three International Exhibitions Open Concurrently in Ho Chi Minh City

On August 13, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, hosted a premier international event spanning the industrial and sports consumer goods sectors. The Vietnam International Sports & Outdoor Exhibition (Vietnam Sport Show 2026), the Vietnam International Two-Wheel Exhibition (Vietnam Cycle Expo 2026), and the 14th Zhejiang Export Fair 2026 opened concurrently at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre. Organized by the Vietnam National Advertising and Exhibition Joint Stock Company (VINEXAD), this joint exhibition brings together 400 high-quality enterprises from 15 countries and regions, providing a comprehensive showcase of the latest products and technological trends in sports and outdoors, two-wheeled mobility, and advanced manufacturing. The event runs until August 15.

As a key component of this grand event, Vietnam Sport Show 2026 focuses on the evolving demands for fitness and outdoor recreation, comprehensively showcasing a wide array of fitness equipment, outdoor sports gear, health and rehabilitation solutions, and cutting-edge sports technology products. Against the backdrop of rising global health awareness, the exhibition serves as a vital window for the industry to gain insights into the latest sports consumption trends.

Meanwhile, Vietnam Cycle Expo 2026 continues to consolidate its position as a leading professional trade show in the bicycle and eco-friendly mobility sectors. The exhibition covers not only complete bikes—including sports, urban, electric, and children's models—but also delves deep into upstream and downstream innovations across the industrial chain. On display are components, accessories, advanced battery technologies, smart wearable and interactive devices, and related ancillary services, highlighting the emerging industry trend of deeply integrating green mobility with smart technologies.

In addition, the 14th Zhejiang Export Fair 2026 brings a large delegation of outstanding manufacturing enterprises from Zhejiang Province, China. These companies specialize in the export of sports equipment, bicycles and accessories, sports and health products, and various consumer goods. They fully demonstrate the robust supply chain advantages and product innovation capabilities of China's manufacturing sector in these fields, offering a wealth of choices for Vietnamese and international buyers.

At the opening ceremony, To Ngoc Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Overseas Market Development under Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade, delivered a keynote speech. He pointed out that against the macro backdrop of the Vietnamese government's commitment to achieving a double-digit economic growth target, the tasks of expanding markets, stimulating production, boosting exports, and enhancing the overall competitiveness of the national economy are particularly urgent.

"To this end, the Ministry of Industry and Trade continues to play a core role in market development, promoting production that aligns with market demands, diversifying export markets, and strengthening supply chain connectivity," Mr. Son emphasized. He further noted that within the framework of this exhibition, trade promotion is one of the key tools for bringing enterprises closer to target markets and international partners. Such international exhibition events not only create more opportunities for business matching and market expansion but also provide strong support for Vietnam's deeper integration into regional and global production and supply chains.

To maximize the commercial value of the exhibition, the organizers have meticulously planned a series of concurrent events. These include specialized seminars inviting industry experts and corporate representatives to discuss industrial development trends; interactive experience sessions for enterprises, professionals, and sports enthusiasts, allowing visitors to intuitively experience the performance of the latest products; and dedicated B2B business matching sessions for domestic and international companies. These activities have effectively broken down information barriers, facilitated precise matchmaking between supply and demand, and laid a solid foundation for substantive cooperation.

Currently, the global sports, leisure, and green mobility industries are in a critical period of rapid recovery, transformation, and upgrading. As one of the most dynamic economies in Southeast Asia, Vietnam boasts a massive young population and a growing middle class, providing vast market space for sports consumption and eco-friendly mobility. The concurrent holding of these three major exhibitions is not only a concentrated response to local market demands but also a crucial move by Vietnam to actively attract foreign investment and deepen international industrial cooperation. By building a comprehensive platform integrating product display, technological exchange, and trade negotiations, Vietnam is accelerating its layout in the regional sports and mobility industry chains, injecting new vitality into the post-pandemic regional economic recovery.
