18th Keqiao Curtain and Fabric Exhibition Opens with 2,500+ Exhibitors

On August 12, 2026, the 18th Autumn Keqiao Curtain and Fabric Expo 2026 officially kicked off in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. Themed "Harnessing Source Momentum, Innovating the Future with Intelligence," the three-day event adopts an innovative dual-venue model linking the Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center and the Beilian Market of China Textile City. Spanning a total exhibition area of 250,000 square meters, the expo has brought together over 2,000 premium enterprises to showcase the latest products and technological trends in the curtain and fabric industry. As a major autumn event for the home textile and fabric sector, the expo not only provides a highly efficient trade matching platform for global buyers and sellers, but also underscores Keqiao's industrial resilience and innovative vitality as the global capital of textiles.

At the main venue, the Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center, the exhibition matrix achieves full-category coverage, encompassing curtains and sheers, wall coverings and wallpapers, kitchen, dining, and bathroom textiles, upholstered furniture, and outdoor fabrics. To meet the refined sourcing needs of the market, the expo has specially set up a nearly 5,000-square-meter Home Textile and Cross-Border Sourcing Zone. This dedicated zone features concentrated displays of niche categories such as sofa cushions, carpets, shower curtains, and pet textiles, precisely aligning with current market demands for consumption upgrades and personalized customization. This exhibition model, combining full-category displays with specialized zones, has significantly enhanced sourcing efficiency and the overall visitor experience for buyers.

The expo also served as a vibrant hub for industry thought leadership. The Annual Conference of the Fabric Branch of the China Home Textile Association was held concurrently under the theme "Design Breakthroughs, Technological Empowerment, and Holistic Symbiosis." The conference focused on in-depth discussions across four core pillars: original design, technological and health innovation, AI empowerment, and omni-channel integration. In addition, over a dozen high-profile industry events were held in rapid succession, including the Soft Furnishing Industry Innovation and Development Conference, the Sustainable Innovation and Cross-Border E-Commerce Forum, and the Reverse Sourcing Matchmaking Conference, providing comprehensive analyses of industry pain points and development opportunities. Notably, a cloud exhibition and live streaming platform was officially launched during the event, breaking geographical barriers to offer domestic and international buyers remote product selection and online inquiry channels, thereby creating an efficient, omnichannel trade loop that seamlessly integrates online and offline experiences.

This year's expo has attracted numerous companies seeking new channels. In the carpet section, Junxiao Carpet made its debut on the stage of the Keqiao Curtain and Fabric Expo. A company representative noted that in the past, carpet manufacturers typically preferred exhibiting at home soft furnishing or hotel engineering expos in Guangzhou or Shanghai, making this their first foray into a curtain and fabric expo. The representative analyzed that carpets possess dual attributes as both consumer goods and building materials, making them suitable for a wide range of exhibition types. This cross-sector participation is driven by the high overlap between the expo's audience and the carpet's target customer base, as the company hopes to leverage this opportunity to explore new market growth.

For the first time, the Beilian Market of China Textile City has been incorporated into the exhibition layout, forming a grand "One Expo, Dual Zones" framework with the main venue. As the core distribution hub for curtain and fabric wholesale, the Beilian Market enjoys steady daily foot traffic. A person in charge at the market explained the strategic rationale behind this layout: "By integrating short-term exhibitions, we aim to drive traffic to merchants, cultivate fabric brands, and refine full-category displays, ultimately using the expo to boost overall market transaction volumes." On the fourth floor of the Beilian Market, over 50 brand enterprises are gathered, with booths comprising both permanent stores and temporary spaces. Temporary custom-built booths account for about half, demonstrating exceptionally high market vitality.

Yaqinuo, a well-known brand in architectural soft furnishings, is exhibiting at the Beilian Market for the first time. Mei Qifei, Head of Sales for the Southern Region, described this participation as an in-depth market exploration. He noted, "The Beilian Market's advantage as a source production base is right here, with the supply chain and customer base for curtains and fabrics already in place. We want to see if we can open new cooperation channels by tapping into the market from the perspective of a full range of architectural soft furnishings." Addressing the industry-wide challenge of zero-sum competition in a saturated market, Mei keenly pointed out that the renovation of existing homes is widely recognized as the breakthrough direction. He emphasized, "Everyone is looking for incremental growth. The Expo-Market integration model at Beilian, at the very least, provides us with a window to reach new customer segments."

Currently, the global home textile and fabric industry is at a critical juncture for transformation and upgrading. Enhancing original design capabilities, pursuing green and low-carbon sustainable development, and expanding digital channels have become the core drivers for enterprises to break through. After 18 editions of accumulation, the Keqiao Curtain and Fabric Expo has evolved from a single product display platform into a comprehensive ecosystem integrating trend release, trade matching, and industrial synergy. The innovative practice of "One Expo, Dual Zones" has not only effectively revitalized offline traffic in the professional market but also provided source factories and brand enterprises with valuable opportunities to engage directly with end consumers and lower-tier markets. Looking ahead, with the deep integration of AI empowerment and omni-channel strategies, Keqiao's curtain and fabric industry is poised to secure a more central position in the global value chain, continuously leading the high-quality development of China's soft furnishing industry.
