The 16th CIES Energy Storage Conference was held at Hangzhou International Expo Center, August 11 being the last day. Over 130 companies showcased the latest technologies across the energy storage industry chain.

Trina Solar Chairman Gao Jifan stated that with dual-high characteristics of the new power system plus AI computing demands, energy storage has become a core independent power source for grid security. He proposed promoting deep PV-storage coordination, expanding long-duration storage and sodium-ion battery boundaries, and defining competitiveness through whole-lifecycle value.

Trina Solar has global pre-delivery orders of 33GWh, with 2026 target exceeding 16GWh and overseas high-value market share approaching 90%.
