16th China International Animation Expo Opens in Dongguan, Focusing on Trade Services for Industry Going Global

The 16th China International Animation Expo (Anime Fair) will be held from August 6 to 10 in Shipai Town, Dongguan.

As a national-level platform for the animation and trendy toy industry to connect global resources, this edition focuses on trade services to help enterprises go global. Huangpu Customs will conduct on-site technical trade seminars, systematically interpreting EU toy safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Dongguan, known as the "Capital of Chinese Trendy Toys," has over 8,000 toy production enterprises and nearly 1,500 supporting companies, making it the world's largest toy export base. According to customs statistics, Dongguan exported 10.77 billion yuan in toys in the first half of 2026, a year-on-year increase of 8%, covering more than 120 countries and regions worldwide. This edition of the expo will build an efficient trade matchmaking and compliance service platform for the domestic and international animation and trendy toy industry.
