The 21st LABACE Latin America Business Aviation Expo opened on August 4 at Campo de Marte Airport in São Paulo, Brazil, and runs through August 6. This year's edition features 55 aircraft on display with projected on-site transactions exceeding 150 million USD.
Brazil holds the world's second-largest business aviation fleet with 11,375 aircraft, and business aviation movements are up 12% year-on-year. During the exhibition, Robinson Helicopters unveiled the R88 model for its South American debut, while Pilatus showcased the PC-12 PRO equipped with the Autoland automatic landing system, demonstrating new safety technology breakthroughs in the business aviation sector.
The expo attracts aircraft manufacturers, operators, FBO service providers and financial institutions from around the world, serving as the most important annual business matchmaking platform for Latin America's business aviation industry chain.
