Zimbabwe largest mining, engineering and transport exhibition Mine Entra 2026 is being held in Bulawayo, with President Mnangagwa scheduled to attend today opening ceremony. This year theme is Unearth, Transform, Prosper, focusing on mining value chain and local mineral processing.
ZITF CEO Nicholas Ndebele revealed that booth space uptake reached 98% (8,853 sqm), with 276 direct exhibitors (up from 231 last year), including 33 overseas exhibitors from 8 countries including China, India, South Africa, USA, Turkey, and Philippines (compared to only 20 from 4 countries last year). Registered business visitors reached 6,453 (compared to 3,355 last year), doubling year-on-year. Zimbabwe mining accounts for 14.5% of GDP, with mineral exports reaching 5.52 billion dollars in H1 2026, up 39.8% year-on-year. The expo also features a Mining Buyer Matchmaking program with procurement decision-makers from 25 mining companies participating in structured B2B pairing.
